Debian Live-CD

The goal of this project is to made it as easy as possible to create
your own custum "Debian Live-CD"
It is based on "Debian Sarge", because there are many packages
includet, they are very easy to handle and the system is stable enough.
The distribution boots from CD (there is no harddisk required !!!)
with Debian-tux fb-splash, writes some parts of the CD in ram
and is booting into runlevel 2.
If the size of the ram is lower than the double size of the CD,
the distribution switches to "mode=cdrun" to save memory.
Before booting your system you should connect a ext2, ext3 or reiserfs formated
usb-stick to the computer (not needed, but useful), this is saving memory too.
Vfat formated sticks wont work, cause vfat does'nt know any file permissions
After booting execute "mklivecd -us" manualy
you can install software with "apt-get install XXX -y".
If you press [TAB] twice instead of typing “ XXX“, you will get a list of all available software.
To create and burn your own CD you have to execute "mklivecd".
"mklivecd --help" will show you a list of available options and switches.
"mklivecd -k -l en -c 3" should do a great job

Send me an E-Mail with the url and a short description of your "Debian Live-CD"
I will link it on my site
